You don’t have to be a professional musician just to learn how to play the guitar. Don’t be scared, or worried. You have to know that learning the guitar can be fun, and may even be easier than you think.
It doesn’t matter if you were not born with a musical talent, you can still learn, especially if you are really determined to. It may take time before you get comfortable playing the guitar, but the important thing is, you will know how.

So, for the first 30 to 60 minutes, you need to practice the basic chords. This is probably the hardest part. Remember the shapes and where your fingers are supposed to go. Once you are ready to play them, you can experiment with cool sounds, and also add or remove your fingers to discover more.
Learn some strumming techniques. Your fingers will hurt, but that’s normal. So, don’t worry too much. Just keep practicing until you get the hang of it. Everyone who learned to play the guitar has experienced pain but it didn’t stop them. Instead, it made them want to learn more.
As soon as you know all the basic chords, then you are ready to start playing. I suggest that you spend at least 30 minutes to 1 hour per day to practice playing the guitar. You will eventually get comfortable, and you will soon think playing the guitar is just as easy as counting 1, 2, 3.
